California caring.

I wore some really old clothes today. I think these jeans are at least five years old and I know for a fact those gold ballet flats are seven years old. I’ve almost worn through the bottom, but I just can’t bear to throw them away and I haven’t found a suitable replacement. Bought them at Off Saks in Las Vegas with my family when we were there for Thanksgiving in 2005.

Felt very “California girl” today. Beachy, wavy, careless hair, bright poppy colors, jeans. Almost a throwback to MTV’s Laguna Beach.I brought some soup over to Amanda this afternoon. Poor thing is feeling feverish and sick. She texted that the soup was exactly what she needed. Hopefully it makes her feel better.

Since Michael left for Peru this past Monday, I’ve become much less of a homebody. It’s been a real busy week filled with interviews, up and downs, meetings, classes, books, and other law-related events. I’m looking forward to the weekend.

I’m hanging out with my brother again tonight. Last Friday, I came home at 4 a.m. after going out with him and his friends. I have a bridal dress appointment tomorrow so there’s no way I can stay out that late. But we’ll see…In the meantime, I need for my stomach to digest a bit before I can move.Have a great start to your weekend!
