A few girlfriends and I took a couple hours off studying for finals to grab some sushi at Sakana on Post and Taylor. Their ikura (salmon roe) and quail egg nigiri is always good. Even though I had to take smaller bites than normal because of my still healing, and tender, tooth extraction site, sushi was delicious.
I believe a dim sum Sunday brunch with my grandparents is on the docket for tomorrow. And if I’m really motivated, I’m going to try and catch a bikram class at 8 a.m. before my brother picks me up for brunch. It’s definitely been probably a year since my last bikram class, so it’s going to be rough.

Those are all the pins that came out of my head when I took my updo down a few minutes ago. Sitting right next to the headband that I’ll most likely be wearing. I didn’t get any pictures of the actual updo because I was running late to my second alterations appointment. By the time I got there, the hair was a mess and today’s version wasn’t exactly what I wanted anyway.
I’m getting my hair done by Nicole at Atelier Emmanuel on Stockon and Sutter, right next to the Union Square Hyatt so it’ll be super convenient. They are also one of the very few salons downtown that are open on Sundays. Kind of important since the wedding is on a Sunday.
For the actual day, we’re going a little more sleek with plenty of volume. One month countdown starting today!
