Testing out some birthday goods.

Received a lovely present from my cousins in the mail today. I’ve wanted that J. Crew necklace forever! So excited to sparkle up my future outfits with that beautiful piece.

The fruit tart my mother got for me is basically gone already. Schubert’s is my favorite bakery.

This afternoon, I pulled on the hoodie Michael got me to keep me warm for my walk to barre class. By the way, I’ve been doing the Dailey Method for a little over a month now and it works. It definitely works. At about $22 bucks per class, it’s not cheap, but if you get one of their package deals, I think it’s well worthwhile.

And little Cleo. My lovely fluffy kitty. She’s always the cherry on top.

First rain of fall.

Gray, slightly misty days call for lots of strong looseleaf tea, a sleepy cat, and new clothes from Mom. She picked up a couple of warm, layer-y things for me from the new Uniqlo that just opened up downtown.Of course two seconds after I put the clothes down to take a picture, Miaosie was all over them.
