It’s a significant sign of Michael’s influence that even though he’s away on business, I still had the Niners game on today.  And I might even have watched a little of the AFC game just to see who we’re going against in the Super Bowl.  Couldn’t be prouder of being a San Franciscan today.

I’m also a little excited that there’s a 50/50 chance Michael and I will be going to Louisiana to watch the Harbaugh brothers shake it down.

So to leave you with that San Francisco flavor, here’s my friend Ian and the mustache he showed up with when we went to coffee yesterday.  ”What the hell is on your face?!” were the words I greeted him with.  But I can’t deny that he’s basically summing up the Mission hipster vibe with two little waxed twirls of hair.
Yay for the 49ers!  Yay also for the fact that I have my 25-page Note research paper almost done just in time for tomorrow’s 9 a.m. deadline.  Cheers!
