I flew back to San Francisco this weekend to attend a very good friend’s bridal shower. Totally worth the delayed flight and arrival to SFO at 1:30 a.m. I’ve known Ashley for years and years and can’t wait to see her get married in August.

The bridal shower took place at Ashley’s grandmother’s house in San Jose and was absolutely beautiful. Sherbet champagne punch and little chocolate favors in Tiffany-esque boxes were such sweet touches.

We played a couple of classic bridal shower games. Everyone who attended brought a pantie for Ashley and there was a hilarious poem that worked them all in. There was also the game where Ashley has to answer questions about her groom and if she gets them wrong, she has to chew a piece of gum.
She had more than 7 pieces of gum in her mouth. Poor girl. In her defense, the questions were pretty hard.
My presents for the bride-to-be were a personalized hanger with her future last name that I ordered off Etsy and a cookbook for newlyweds. The hanger was a big hit.
I loved that napkin.
Ashley’s shower was lovely and made me think about my bridal shower sometime early next year. Every time I go to a wedding-related event now, I can’t help but think of my upcoming wedding and get really excited and sentimental.
Too bad my day in San Francisco is ending so soon, back to Dallas on the earliest flight possible tomorrow.
xoxo,
Jenn
