Prudential is pretty cool.  Fun fact: there are more Prudential employees in Japan than there are in the United States.I spent all yesterday doing orientation.  Prudential has 20 or so legal interns for the summer and most of them are in Newark, New Jersey.  I’m the only intern in Dallas so I sat in the giant conference room video conferencing with the rest of the intern class.  There is the most amazing view from the 25th floor.

Dallas is so flat and filled with gorgeous skyscrapers.  Makes my eyes feel funny sometimes since I’m so used to San Francisco’s hills.

It’s also pretty darn hot here.  Like 100 degrees every single day.  I leave for work looking fresh……and after a full day of work and 10 minutes outside waiting for Hyatt’s free shuttle service, I am limp and wilted.It’s always so nerve-wracking getting those first few assignments from my manager.  She asked me to Shepardize some cases today and I literally and completely blanked on what the heck that meant.  Serious nerves.

Oh well, everything’s a work in progress right?
