Touchdown in Lima, Peru.

I made it. I’m alive. (Hi Dad.)

I’m also cracked out on sugar right now and blabbing like a crazy monkey.  Poor Michael, he has to get up at 7 a.m. and it’s already 2 a.m. Peru-time and I am one chatty Cathy.  Although it is really his own fault for feeding me soda and a strawberry pastry at midnight.  He knows what sugar does to me.

LAN airlines is awesome.  I self-selected a seat which ended up being right next to the bathroom, but at least I had an entire row to stretch out in and there were almost 50 movies to chose from.

Peru smells like salt and ocean.  The weather is a bit muggy, but it’s temperate and perfectly warm out.  I love it already.I was so excited/nervous to see Michael after our 1.5 month-long separation that I almost cried when I saw him holding a sign for me.

The adventures are about to start!  Machu Picchu in five or so days. :)  But first, back to my pastry, soda, and forthcoming sugar buzz.

xoxo,

Jenn
