Afternoon Thai with the brother.

My brother Chris drove me around all day today so I took him out for a late lunch.  We were supposed to go to B Star in the Richmond and had found parking right in front of the restaurant, put coins in the meter and everything, before we saw that it was closed.  We were there at 3:40 p.m., sort of the worst time to try and get a bite to eat, and B Star is closed between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

So we went down the street to King of Thai.
Duck pineapple fried rice.  Curry puffs.  Pad kee mao.  Delicious.

Even more delicious was our stop at Genki for crepes after Thai food.Chris has been there before, but never with me so he obviously didn’t know what to get.  He’s been missing out.  I always get the Nutella crepe, with red bean ice cream, baby marshmallows and freshly whipped cream.  It’s fantastic.  Chris was impressed.

We also saw a little boy attached by a rope to his baby brother’s stroller.  His nanny said it was to prevent him from running.  Definitely the best parenting ever.  I’m going to file that away.

xoxo,

Jenn
