How to have a great day.

1.  Start with something healthy for breakfast.

I had a blackberry, peach, and banana smoothie with a bit of honey.  Note: Fage yogurt makes smoothies ridiculously creamy.2.  Make sure to do something that takes care of your mental health.

I took a 45-minute acupuncture-induced relaxing and rejuvenating nap.  Fantastic.

3.  Pause a moment and enjoy a sliver of nature.

San Francisco was all blue skies today.4.  Next up, something for the physical health.

I’m not a huge exercise type of gal, but I do enjoy yoga.  An hour this afternoon was just what my recovering back needed.

5.  Do something career/school-oriented and productive.

Not only did I review some tax concepts, I also went to a tax networking event this evening.  It was held in the Skyroom on the 24th floor of the Tower, UC Hastings’ dormitory building.  The Skyroom gets amazing views because it’s so high up.  Met a couple of really interesting people.6.  Get a good night’s sleep.

After a couple of my homemade oatmeal cookies and chocolate soy milk, I’m about to get in bed and snuggle with the fuzzy cat (the other cat is “the mean cat”) and Michael.

xoxo,

Jenn
