Seattle has stolen my heart.

We are running out to a play right now so can’t chat, but here are pictures from our lovely day.

See you later! We’re off to Pygmalion and Local360.

Dinner at the List.

Early birthday present to myself? I slept in an extra hour this morning and got up at the late, late time of 7:30 a.m. Yea.

Thought I’d sneak in a quick post about our dinner last night at the List. I feel like we’re back in Seattle because we basically just wanted to eat all the foods we ate last time. They were some pretty amazing meals.

We ate at Local360 last year while we were up here for my 24th birthday and have reminisced about that place occasionally every once in a while ever since. It was that good. Michael and I have reservations there tonight and we are so excited.

But last night we ended up right next to Local360 at the List instead. I think we were so eager about eating at Local360 our feet just naturally carried us there. Too bad the List was kind of disappointing. It wasn’t awful, just not anywhere I’d go again to eat. Michael said,

“It’s good we went someplace bad tonight so tomorrow the food tastes even better.”

I’m hoping Local360 doesn’t disappoint. Michael has been jonesing over their spaghetti and meatballs for a year.

Other fun sights:

This awesome wood furniture store with giant planks of hardwoods. I was dying for that dark slab table in the far back and right.Who doesn’t love some police excitement? They definitely saw me take a picture and stared. I think the car they stopped was going the wrong way on a one-way street. And finally, the beautifully crisp and clear morning I woke up to.I love Seattle. Everything is so clean and cold and empty. The air tastes good.

Time to get a move on. We have so many plans today! It’s my last day of being 24…

Jenn
