One down, two to go.

What’s up butternuts?!

Boy, am I feeling cheery. Despite being so anxious last night about my Contracts exam that I got a bad case of insomnia and barely slept a wink, I am done! With one final at least.

It wasn’t horrible. It was a jittery, 3 1/2 hour, empty stomach, have-to-pee-but-no-time, type furiously salvo. The type where you don’t know you’re almost done until you are done. And then you’re shaking a little because you typed so fast your fingers are still going. The reason why my stomach was empty is because I’m the type of nervous that can’t eat. Which always seems better than the type of nervous that eats everything in sight. But when I’m super hungry, yet have no appetite because I’m stressed, it doesn’t seem that appealing.

And why did I have to pee? Because I brought three different beverages to the test room – a can of coconut water, a bottle of orange juice, and a Diet Coke in case I needed caffeine. Then I found out only screw tops are allowed in the test room. So I chugged the coconut water outside and then drank the orange juice real quick right before the test so I could have some sugar to make my brain work.

There was a handy little doodad at the bottom of my test screen that told me how many characters I typed by the way. I thought it was informative. The final number? A little over 13,000 characters. For each question. So a grand total of 26,000 characters in 210 minutes. Either I’m the grand typemaster and full of shit, or said a lot to cover all my bases so at least I hit most of the issues. Here’s to hoping.I took the rest of the day off to hang out with the cats and recharge. Thai food to the rescue.Miaosie and I took a long walk outside with my Thai iced tea, then I devoured my tofu Pad Kee Mao and papaya salad from Osha.

Property, I will see you bright and early tomorrow morning.

xoxo,

Jenn
