Walk of death.

Guess what?

Well, obviously we got back from Indiana alive despite United Airlines doing its utmost best to stymie our efforts – first we had electrical problems on our leg to Denver, then from Denver to San Francisco, we just kept circling over SF. Over and over. Then when we finally landed, it was in San Jose. To refuel because the fog was apparently too dense to land in SF. Oh my schweaddy balls, I was about to lose it. (We tried to find Ben and Jerry’s Schweady Balls ice cream in Indiana, but no luck.)But anyway, guess what?

My first ever law school exam is tomorrow morning. 8:30 a.m. sharp.

I am scared spitless. Michael keeps reassuring me that I’ve been studying hard for the last week, but I think it’s because he doesn’t know that I spent a portion of my studying time shopping for furniture and looking at interior design blogs like Design*Sponge.

I think I know all the basics. I think I know how to argue both sides. I think my outline is sufficient. I think I’ll find out tomorrow when I face Contracts. My early walk down Leavenworth, an unpleasant duty on good days, is going to be a long walk of death tomorrow morning. Thankfully, Amanda will be my walking buddy as she has been for the last semester. We will face the pee smells, the grumpy bums, the drug-dealing, and the occasional ass-grabbing (yes, no joke, I’m still angry about that) together.

There’s no going back. Wish me so much luck I hopefully wake up with it spewing out my ears. Thanks.

Jenn

Trapped in Indianapolis.

We just had to deplane our flight to Denver due to aircraft electrical problems. Uh oh. That’s after spending close to an hour on the airplane hanging out. Thanks United. I didn’t really mind because I just slapped my eyemask on, stuffed my little neck pillow in place, and snoozed.

Michael is not a happy camper though.

There’s a good chance we’ll miss our connection in Denver. I don’t know when we’ll be back in SF. Or when I’m going to be able to study.

Yikes. Be back later.

xoxo,
Jenn
