I complain about having no time to do anything but law school, yet somehow I always manage to fit in shopping and lazy mornings.

I met up with Victoria, my old supervisor, this morning and what was supposed to be a somewhat short little coffee chat at Ritual turned into a 5-hour hangout session including a stop at Uva in Hayes Valley for a goat cheese mushroom pizza and playtime with her wildcat Pouncer. Victoria has this really awesome huge bike that looks like it’s going to crush her, but somehow she manages it.
Then as I hurried home berating myself for letting time slip away and worrying about how much reading I had to catch up on, I peeked out the corner of my eye and saw an estate sale ongoing. Uh oh.

Four slips, three necklaces and $30 later, I finally made it home. Around 4:30 p.m. Yikes.
But even though I used to get made fun of at UCLA’s Chi Omega sorority house for wearing my nightgowns around, I still love them. I think there’s something beautiful and feminine about nightgowns. I also just really like lace. These four slips are going to be my awesome new nightgowns. After a good, thorough washing of course.
And the necklaces are perfect. For $30, I think I got a pretty good deal. Happy night before Monday! And early Halloween!
xoxo,
Jenn

/ November 2, 2011I “like” this post mainly because this must be the world’s only (semi-)legally related post that features lingerie … okay, okay, forget I said anything – don’t want a run-in with your guy.

/ November 2, 2011Haha, I try. A lot of my sorority sisters actually used to call me “Grandma” because of my penchant for wearing nightgowns. It’s a dying trend.
