I got a new toy today – the Motorola Xoom tablet courtesy of Google. I am actually blogging from the tablet for this post and it’s faster than trying to post on my Nexus S but slower than a laptop.

Verdict – Really cool but not amazing.

The device is heavier than I thought it would be, and this tablet is not data compatible but I can always tether with my Nexus S to access the internet when I am not in a Wi-Fi hot spot. Lastly, it is lacking the Netfix app so I can’t stream content like on my phone.

I really like the graphics and sound that my new toy has. I think the clarity is better than my 1080i Sony TV.

I need to spend more time with my device to figure out how to maximize the utilization but till then probably just be another device to check email.
