India 7/15-7/17 – Three days of relaxation in Goa

In three days, we have perfected the art of doing nothing. Except for eating and playing, that is.There were awesome buffet breakfasts. The yogurts were homemade and amazing.

There was a couples’ consultation with an ayurvedic doctor in preparation for our deep-tissue massages. Things to note – don’t eat red meat and root vegetables together, drink room temperature or warm water (and lots of it), and always eat a good breakfast at the same time. Optimal body function will be the result of making sure nutrition, sleep, and exercise is fulfilled. I need to work on exercise, Michael needs to work on his nutrition.There was more swimming in the lagoon-esque pools and dining al fresco by the water.There was lots of room service.

There was total, complete, and utter relaxation.

We flew back to Hyderabad a few hours ago and are trying to figure out how to pack up the ridiculous amount of souvenirs we’ve accumulated along with our dirty clothes. America awaits in less than 48 hours! I can’t wait.
