Written super late, night of July 8th.
M and I have started our vacation. We got to the Hyderabad airport super early this afternoon (because M is paranoid like that) and I saw a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf that I immediately had to try. It’s a Los Angeles thing. And also because six months ago, I came across a CB&TL just outside of Cairo and had to try that. The Egyptian version of a Tropical Passion iced tea was pretty horrible, so I needed to try the Indian version of a Chai latte to compare.
Sad to say, the Coffee Bean here isn’t much better. They had food too and because M and I were starved, we got fruit, marinara rotini, and a roast veg sandwich. I wanted the salad, but they were out. Lame. The pasta smelled like the cheese was bad. So sick. M ate it anyway though, but no way was I touching that.

Airplane food was actually really good though. Strange that our two-hour flight included dinner, but it was nice. All the Indian airplane food I’ve had so far has been pretty delicious. It seems as if interstate flights are super cheap too. I forget how much we paid for the flights, but this website was really helpful in booking both air and hotel fares.
We landed in Delhi a bit ago and are breaking in our hotel room.
Tomorrow, the sightseeing begins. Taj Mahal on Sunday!!!
xoxo,
Jenn
