Hello!

I am on Day Two of being “funemployed” and I’m not going to lie, it’s been really nice.

It’s nice to wake up in the morning, look at M get ready for work, then roll over and go back to sleep. I used to be out the door before he even popped open an eyelid.

It’s lovely to have time to meet up with Scot (an old coworker that quit a few weeks before me) downtown for lunch. And as he heads back to work at his new job, I have the extra time to get a frozen yogurt before heading home from Embarcadero Three.It’s awesome pulling together a balanced breakfast and being in no rush to eat it.

It’s wonderful being able to head to the park when it’s blazing out and tan while watching a billion dogs get walked. Puppies are always cute.

I have to say though, I think I have perhaps three more days before boredom and uselessness sets in. I guess I should be grateful I’ll be flying off to India right? *wink wink*
