Kristan flew in today from Boston and M picked her up from San Francisco Airport. It’s Kayla’s wedding weekend. AH! This is my first friend “walking the plank” as she says. There was a bit of garter-shopping on Polk St. when Kayla rang to say the one she ordered hadn’t arrived in time. Luscious Wear stepped in to fill the hole. 

We had a few salads from Bite to fill the holes in our bellies and it was into the car for the quick drive to Napa. 

Avia is really nice, although the bathroom door is odd and is like a sliding barn door with a giant crack. 

M and Geoff, Kayla’s fiance, are really hitting it off which is nice. And us girls are just chatting it up. My two best friends – Kayla on the left, Kristan on the right.We can’t wait for the wedding. T-minus two days. Us girls keep talking about how surreal everything is.
