Thai food, exotic places.

Amy and I went to Suriya again today. Thai food is usually something I crave every once in a while and today it hit. Pong karee noodles again for me. They weren’t as good today though as they usually are. But while at lunch, we chatted about travel plans.

And it looks as though Thai food isn’t just for eating. M and I are thinking about going to Thailand for our annual Christmas/New Year’s trip. M loves keeping this annual travel tradition alive. Costa Rica for 2009, Egypt in 2010, and now, perhaps Thailand for 2011.

I’ve actually already been twice when I was younger. All I can say is that Thailand is all sorts of wonderful. I remember para-gliding, I remember the beautifully luscious mangosteen fruits of which I ate by the kilo, I remember villas and soft warm beachy winds. I remember laughter, family, and tropical scenery.

Thailand is imbued with childhood memories of awesome.

I can’t wait to go back.

xoxo,

Jenn
