I have zero food in the fridge.
And I cannot go grocery shopping because the bags will be too heavy to bring home.
I am also too lazy to eat out.
What a dilemma.
My fresh produce options are down to three habaneros. Pitiful.
So instead, I cobbled together the strangest dinner I have ever eaten.
Can of sliced stewed tomatoes. Why? I have no idea.
Through a Bikram yoga-induced stupor, I thought it would be a great idea to smash the tomatoes into the sweet potatoes, sprinkle some garlic powder, cayenne, salt and pepper on top, and call it a meal.
Halfway through, I stopped with fork 6 inches from mouth, and just stared at my bowl. It tasted fine (I love tomatoes), kind of sweet, with a kick from the cayenne, but just weird. Then I shrugged, ate it, and had some wine.
After all, I had to hydrate post-Bikram.
Hopefully, after M comes back tomorrow, I will not be a starving orphan anymore.
xoxo,
Jenn
